Reservations and Practical Information

What time does L’Atelier’s kitchen close?

The Bistro L’Atelier kitchen is open until 11 p.m.

Are children allowed at L’Atelier?

Yes. Children are welcome on our terrace as well as during the first indoor seating, with departure scheduled before 9 p.m.

Are dogs allowed on the terrace?

Yes! Dogs are welcome on L’Atelier’s terrace.

How long can we keep our table?

Your table is reserved for a period of 2 hours and 30 minutes to allow us to accommodate the following reservations. Would you like to continue your evening? When capacity allows, our team may offer you a spot at the bar or in another area of L’Atelier.

What happens if it rains when I have a reservation on the terrace?

Our terrace is covered and protected from the rain. Your reservation can therefore be maintained in case of rain. However, we cannot guarantee an indoor table in the event of bad weather. If space is available, our team will do its best to accommodate you.

Where can I park near L’Atelier on Grande-Allée?

L’Atelier offers valet parking. If you prefer to park your vehicle yourself, several parking options are available nearby, including Château Laurier, Hôtel Le Concorde, the Parkéo parking lot behind Ozone at 500 Grande-Allée, and Complexe G.

Menu and Dietary Needs

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes. Several options may be suitable for people with gluten intolerance. Please mention your intolerance to your server so that our team can provide appropriate recommendations.

Do you have vegetarian options?

Yes. Simply mention your dietary preferences to your server, and our team will be happy to recommend the available vegetarian options.

Can we bring our own birthday cake?

Yes. You may bring your own cake; a cake-cutting fee of $3.50 per person applies. Are you celebrating a birthday with a group of more than 10 people? L’Atelier will instead provide a cake for the entire group. Please let our team know when making your reservation.

Atmosphere and Nightlife

Is there a dance floor at L’Atelier?

Yes. A dance floor is set up on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays starting at 10:30 p.m. You can therefore come for dinner at L’Atelier and continue your evening on site.

Is there a DJ at L’Atelier?

Yes. DJs are featured every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to keep the atmosphere lively throughout the evening.

Do you offer live music?

Yes. L’Atelier features live music on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Groups and Private Events

Does L’Atelier accept group reservations?

Yes. We welcome groups for birthdays, dinners with friends, parties, corporate events and other special occasions. Group menus and packages are available to make organizing your event easier.

Do you offer group menus?

Yes. L’Atelier offers menus tailored to group reservations and private events. To learn more about the different options, contact us at info@bistrolatelier.com.

Do you have private rooms for groups?

Yes. Two floors of L’Atelier can be arranged as private spaces. One area can accommodate approximately 16 to 20 people, while a second can accommodate 40 to 80 people.

Can an area of L’Atelier be privatized?

Yes. All floors of L’Atelier can be privatized for a private or corporate event. Certain conditions apply depending on the date, number of guests and type of event.

Is there a fee to rent a private space?

There is no room rental fee. Privatization is instead based on your group’s food and beverage purchases, subject to certain conditions.

What equipment is available for a private event?

Depending on the selected space, L’Atelier can provide microphones, a sound system, televisions and a projector free of charge.

Can we organize a corporate event at L’Atelier?

Yes. Located on Grande-Allée in Québec City, L’Atelier hosts corporate events, 5 à 7 gatherings, team dinners, celebrations, launches and other private events. Several spaces can be adapted or privatized depending on the size and needs of your group.

Catering and Boxed Lunches

Does L’Atelier offer catering services in Québec City?

Yes. L’Atelier offers catering services in Québec City for businesses, meetings, corporate events and other occasions. Our services include boxed lunches as well as catering buffets featuring platters and bite-sized items to share.

Do you offer boxed lunches for businesses?

Yes. L’Atelier offers several individual boxed lunch options for meetings, training sessions, team lunches and corporate events. Our menu includes tartares, salads, sandwiches, wraps and poke bowls.

Do you offer a catering buffet?

Yes. Our catering menu includes a selection of platters, salads and bite-sized items to share, allowing you to create a buffet based on your group’s needs. For a full meal, we recommend planning approximately 10 bites per person.

What is the minimum order for catering or boxed lunches?

Orders must be placed for a minimum of 10 people.

How far in advance should I place my order?

Boxed lunch and catering orders must be placed at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time.

Do you deliver catering orders in Québec City?

Yes. Delivery is available within a 10 km radius of Bistro Bar L’Atelier, located at 624 Grande-Allée Est, on the north shore of Québec City.

Our selection includes sharing platters, cheeses and charcuterie, salads, vegetarian options and a variety of bite-sized items, including tartares, wraps and other options designed for events and group meals.
